Frequently asked questions
How do I add a subscription?
Open the Subscriptions tab and use the add control to enter the name, price, currency, billing period, and next payment date. You can also add subscriptions during onboarding when you first set up the app.
How do payment reminders work?
Go to Profile → Notifications (or enable notifications during onboarding). Turn on notifications, choose reminder timing (day before and/or week before), and allow iOS notification permission when prompted. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
Why are currency totals approximate?
Renew converts amounts using exchange rates from a public rates API. Rates can be delayed or rounded, and your display currency setting affects how month and home totals are shown. Use totals as estimates, not exact bank balances.
How do I change the app language?
Open Profile and tap Language to pick from the supported languages in the app.
How do I change the default display currency?
Open Profile and tap the display currency row to choose which currency is used for summaries and converted amounts across the app.
How do I restart onboarding?
Open Profile and tap Restart onboarding. This runs the setup flow again; your existing subscriptions remain unless you change them.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual subscriptions inside the app. To remove all local data, delete Renew from your device. There is no separate cloud account to close in the current version of the app.
