Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Renew: Subscription Tracker (“Renew”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our iOS mobile application. Renew helps you track subscriptions, recurring payments, renewals, currencies, and optional payment reminders.
Information you provide in the app
Renew is designed to store the subscription information you enter on your device. This may include:
- Subscription names
- Prices and currencies
- Billing periods and payment dates
- Reminder preferences (for example, day-before or week-before)
- Display currency and language preferences
Core subscription data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. We do not operate a user account or cloud backup of your subscription list as part of the current app.
Local notifications
If you enable notifications, Renew can schedule local payment reminders on your device. Reminder delivery depends on your iOS settings and system limits. We do not need your subscription names or prices to display a reminder notification beyond what the app stores locally to build that reminder.
Firebase services
Renew uses Google Firebase services in connection with the app. These services may process limited technical and usage data according to Google’s policies:
- Firebase Analytics — helps us understand app usage (for example, screens viewed, onboarding completed, currency refresh events, notification permission results). We design analytics around event names and counts; we do not intentionally send subscription names, prices, or other sensitive subscription content in analytics events.
- Firebase Crashlytics — helps us diagnose crashes and stability issues (for example, device model, OS version, crash stack traces).
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — supports push notification infrastructure if you grant notification permission. Use of push features may evolve with the app.

Exchange rate information
When you use currency conversion or automatic rate refresh, Renew may
request public exchange rates from a third-party API
(open.er-api.com). Requests are made for currency codes
(for example, USD, EUR) to obtain rates relative to RUB. We do not send
your subscription names or subscription-specific amounts to that API as
part of rate lookups.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Renew is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- You can turn off notifications in Renew or in iOS Settings at any time.
- You can delete individual subscriptions inside the app, or remove all local app data by deleting the app from your device.
- Analytics and crash reporting follow Firebase and platform behavior; you may also be subject to device-level privacy controls provided by Apple.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date above.
